Kutztown 1, Muhlenberg 0: Winning pitcher Megan Greiss hit an RBI single with two outs in the fifth inning to lift the Cougars (19-1) over the Muhls (17-4).
Greiss, who tossed a three-hitter, dunked a single over third with the bases loaded to win a pitchers' duel against Katie Shaub.
Greiss struck out six and never allowed a runner to get past second base.
Shaub struck out 10. Neither pitched issued a walk.
The win was Kutztown's second this season over the Muhls. Muhlenberg had knocked Kutztown out of the Berks playoffs in the semifinals in each of the past two seasons.
