Antietam at Newport

At Creekview, the Buffaloes (9-10) rallied from an eight-run deficit to beat the Mounts (8-12) in a District 3-A first-round game. The teams combined to commit 14 errors, leading to 15 unearned runs. Newport took its first lead in the sixth, scoring three runs without the benefit of a hit. A.J. Stump and Zach Okonski each had two hits for the Mounts. Antietam went up 8-0 in the third with six third-inning runs, a rally built around four errors, two walks, a balk and a bunt single.
