Highlights
At Willow Street, Katie Shaub helped her own cause, knocking in two runs on a single in a three-run sixth inning and the Muhls (18-4) went on to win the District 3 Class AA first-rounder over the Cougars (15-7).
Muhlenberg scored three runs in the first and led 3-2 in the third after Palmyra inched closer on Liz Moore's solo home run. The Muhls gave Shaub some breathing room with three more in the third.
Shaun allowed seven hits and struck out four. Shaub and Emily Vogel each went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Mya Lobb was 2-for-3 with one RBI.
