Boyertown at Neshaminy

District 1-AAAA second round Neshaminy 4, Boyertown 1: At Langhorne, shortstop Christina Udris went 3-for-3 with a big two-run triple to lead the sixth-seeded Redskins (18-2) over the 11th-seeded Bears (14-5), eliminating Boyertown in the second round of the District 1 Class AAAA tournament. Boyertown took an early 1-0 lead when Lizzy Kish led off the game with a single and scored on Shelby Beaver's two-out sacrifice fly. But Neshaminy scored twice in the second when winning pitcher Sarah McGowan's RBI single led to a second run on an outfield error. The Redskins got two more in the third on Udris' two-run triple. Beaver took the loss despite scattering six hits and striking out five against just one walk. McGowan allowed just two singles and no earned runs. She struck out five.
