Lebanon at Gov. Mifflin

At Willow Street’s Garrett Park, Jess Epler struck out 14 on a no-hitter as the 11th-seeded Mustangs (15-6) advanced to the semifinals for the second straight year. Gov. Mifflin will play No. 7 seed Chambersburg in the semifinals Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Creekview Park, Mechanicsburg. Epler didn’t allow a Lebanon (13-8) runner until a leadoff walk in the seventh, but that runner was doubled off first base. Epler then ended the game with a strikeout. Epler also went 2-for-3 with a double and a run. The Mustangs took the lead in the sixth when Alex Kissinger doubled, was sacrificed to third by Rachel Klein, and scored on a single by Rachel Fritz. Fritz stole second and scored on a single by Logan Focht.
