District 3-AA quarterfinals
Kutztown 10, Hanover 2: At Ephrata, Brock Krumanocker scattered nine hits and struck out six in a complete game and Alex Faust hit a three-run home run as the third-seeded Cougars (17-6) handled the No. 6 Hawks.
Faust's long ball highlighted a five-run sixth that put the game away. Caleb Wessner's RBI double began the scoring in a four-run fourth that pushed Kutztown to a 5-1 lead.
Kyle Isamoyer was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI for the Cougars, who face Berks IV rival Tulpehocken next Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at Laureldale.
