Wyomissing at Brandywine Heights

At Mertztown, sophomore Sara Fronheiser struck out 15 batters in a five-inning no-hitter in her first varsity start as the Bullets opened with a win over the Spartans. Fronheiser allowed one walk and retired one batter on a ground ball, but struck out every other batter, including one who reached on a dropped third strike. Fronheiser also went 2-for-3 and drove in two runs. Katrina Hughes and Alyssa Neimeyer each drove in two runs and Abbey Hordendorf went 3-for-3 for the Bullets, who had five triples and two doubles.
