Muhlenberg at Daniel Boone

At Amity, Missy Lamm's base hit to left brought home designated runner Rachel Trupp in the 10 inning for Muhlenberg (3-0, 8-0) and the Muhls ended the game in the bottom half of the inning by getting the final out on a delayed steal. The game reverted to the international tiebreaker in the 10th, each team putting a runner on second base to start the inning. Trupp was moved to third with a sacrifice bunt by Katie Shaub to set up Lamm's winning hit. The Blazers (4-1, 6-2) had runners on second and third with one out in the 10th. After Shaub got her 10th strikeout of the game, Jess Martz was caught on a delayed steal with a 3-2 count on Mary Flynn at the plate. Katie Erb allowed three hits, struck out 15 and walked none for Boone. Erb was also thrown out at the plate in the sixth inning on a ground ball to short. Shaub also allowed three hits and walked three. The two Berks II leaders meet again May 3 at Laureldale.
