At Reiffton, Mark Brown's two-out grand slam in the fifth inning carried the Eagles (3-1, 6-1) past the Red Knights (1-2, 2-6). Brown's slam capped a five-run fifth inning and gave the Eagles a 7-2 lead. Brad Wiekrykas had a two-run, two-out double in the fourth to give the Eagles the lead. Max Dundore pitched the last 12/3 innings to save it for Nate Hummel. Frankelvin Reyes doubled, tripled and drove in three runs for Reading.
