Highlights
At Egelman's Park, Andrew Hoffa's two-run single capped a four-run fourth inning that carried the Cardinals (1-1, 1-2) to an upset win over the Trojans (1-1, 2-2). Central took a 9-3 lead in the fourth with the help of RBI doubles by Nick Demangone and Justin Ashcroft. Tulpehocken cut it to 10-8 on Alex Lewis' pinch-hit three-run home run in the seventh before Sean McDonough got the final out for a complete game. Hoffa, Tyler Hafer, Joe Rys and Zach Kantner each had two hits for the Cards. Blaise Fernandez, Zach Carles and Zach Holt each had three hits for the Trojans.
