Highlights
At Egleman's Park, the Spartans (3-8 Berks III, 5-13) turned five singles and five errors by the Cardinals (1-10 Berks IV, 2-14) into a six-run first-inning rally and held on from there. John Bonino, Dan Helinek and Matt Perez each went 2-for-4 for Wyomissing. Joe Rys belted a two-run homer for Central. Matt Doyen and Nathan Shaffer each had two hits.
