Highlights
At Ephrata, the Hawks (14-7) scored the go-ahead run in the top of the 10th inning without a hit and edged the Warriors (11-9) in the District 3 Class AAA preliminary round. Ty Frick walked, went to second base on an errant pickoff attempt, moved to third on Tyler Lange's sacrifice and scored on a passed ball. Mike Specht went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and pitched three scorless innings for the win. Logan Lesher and Bryan Weidenhammer each had three hits for Hamburg and Danny Ruppert had an RBI. Susquehannock scored an unearned run in the seventh to send it to extra innings. The Hawks will play third-seeded Greencastle-Antrim in the first round at 4 p.m. Monday at Shippensburg.
