Highlights
At Shippensburg, the third-seeded Blue Devils (19-3) broke the game open with seven unearned runs in the bottom of the sixth to beat the Hawks (14-8) in a District 3-AAA opener postponed from Monday. Nineteenth-seeded Hamburg trailed 2-0 until G-A sent 12 batters to the plate and scored seven runs with two outs in the sixth. Willie Sandman doubled in Hamburg's run in the seventh. Winning pitcher Cole Sellers went 2-for-3 and scored twice and Cody Ezolt went 2-for-3 with three RBIs, including a two-run double in the sixth.
