At Lower Pottsgrove Township, Ryan Pinter and Luke Strong combined on a one-hitter, leading the Bears (3-0, 3-0) past the Falcons (0-1, 0-1). Kyle Weller drove in four runs for Boyetown, Jared Von Dohren went 3-for-3 and scored three runs, Steve Price went 2-for-3 and also scored three runs and Matt Purnell was 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs. Mike Czekaj singled in the fifth for Pottsgrove's only hit.
