At Egelman's Park, Justin Ashcroft was 1-for-2 with a double and two runs scored to lead the Cardinals (2-10 Berks IV, 3-12) past the Panthers (5-7 Berks III, 5-13). Ashcroft also pitched seven innings, striking out five and allowing two runs. Also for Central Catholic, Jake Lloyd hit a three-run home run, Michael Bean was 3-for-4 with two runs and Zach Katnner was 1-for-2 and scored two runs.
