Highlights
At Leesport, the Panthers (6-4 Berks III, 8-6) turned a triple play and pounded out 15 hits in a win over the Spartans (1-7 Berks IV, 1-8). With the bases loaded in the third, Schuylkill Valley second baseman Amanda Williams caught a line drive and threw to first baseman Kelsey Adams for the second out. Adams then threw to shortstop Alissa Yenser at second to complete the triple play. Adams went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for the Panthers. Jai Perera went 3-for-3 with a triple, Alissa Yenser 2-for-3 with a double, Abigail Yenser 3-for-4 with a double and winning pitcher Ashley Rice 2-for-4 with a double and triple.
