Highlights
In the bottom of the eighth inning, the Blue Devils (15-6) scored the winning run on a throwing error with the bases loaded and two outs to beat the Hawks (14-6) in a District 3-AAA first round playoff.
After a leadoff single and a hit batter started the inning, Greencastle's runners moved to second and third on a sacrifice bunt.
One out later, after an intentional walk loaded the bases, the game's only run scored on an infield grounder.
Hamburg didn't advance any runners beyond first base, getting just three singles in separate innings from Kayla Simpson, Blair Snyder and Tara Klee.
