Reading High at Exeter

At Reiffton, Corey Rowley went 3-for-3 with two doubles and drove in four runs, including the go-ahead RBI in the bottom of the fifth inning, and also pitched an inning and third for the win as the Eagles (3-1, 6-2) outslugged the Red Knights (0-4, 0-7). Exeter, which trailed 10-1 after 21/2 innings, ralied to take an 11-10 lead before Reading scored four runs in the top of the fifth. The Eagles came back with six in teh bottom of the fifth, and the game was halted by darkness after the top of the sixth. Tyler Huber went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two rusn and five RBIs and Derian Sarlat was 2-for-3 with two RBIs for the Eagles. Alex Zatratz went 3-for-3 with a pair of homers, three runs and five RBIs for Reading. Cesar Suarez went 2-for-2 with three walks and two RBIs.
