At Fairview Village, Ronnie Mauger walked, stole second and moved to third on a ground and scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the seventh as the Bears (12-4, 14-4) edged the Warriors (11-5, 13-15) to move into sole possession of first place. A.J. Bogucki, who came on in relief in the sixth and got the win, retired Methacton in order in the ninth to preserve the victory. Matt Purnell had two hits and drove in a run for Boyertown.
