Highlights
At Manheim, Brittany Smith's three-run double highlighted a key fifth inning as eleventh-seeded Wilson (16-6) prevailed over No. 6 Warwick (16-5) in a District 3 first-round contest.
JayeLynn Reed followed Smith with an RBI double as the Bulldogs opened up a 4-1 lead.
Reed finished 3-for-4 at the plate and was equally effective in the circle, scattering four hits and striking out three.
Sarah Deck added two hits apiece for Wilson.
Madison Derr narrowed the gap to 4-2 in the sixth, but that would be as close as the Warriors would get.
Wilson advances to take on No. 3 Dallastown, a 1-0 winner over Gov. Mifflin, at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday at Millersville.
