Boyertown at Pottsgrove

At Pottstown, Boyertown senior Tyler Bauman threw a no-hitter with eight strikeouts in seven nearly-flawless innings to lead the Bears (8-2, 8-1) past the Falcons (0-1, 0-1). The no-hit effort was one strike away from a perfect game, as Bauman had two outs in the seventh inning with a full count on Pottsgrove's Justin Leamy, but threw ball four to walk him just before striking out Satchel Sciaretta on three pitches to end it. Tyler Comport went 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a stolen base, Dan Purnell 2-for-3 with an RBI and Austin Medeja 2-for-4 with two runs to lead the Bears.
