Highlights
At Kutztown, the Cougars (0-1, 2-1) scored twice in the seventh inning and had the tying runs in scoring position with two outs, but Brandywine Heights pitcher Savanna Ruppert knocked down a line drive back to the mound by Logan Savidge and got the out at first to clinch the win for the Bullets (1-0, 1-0).
Ruppert went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple and three RBIs to lead Brandywine.
Maria Meigio went 2-for-4 with two runs and Courtney Stump 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs for Kutztown.
