At George Field, Zabdiel Parrilla had seven strikeouts and scattered six hits to lead the Red Knights (5-4, 13-5) to a win over the Blazers (4-5, 7-8).
Parrilla got early run support when Reading capitalized on one of Daniel Boone's three errors, scoring two runs and leading 4-0 after two innings.
Jon King added an RBI triple for the Reading.
Zach Heffner fanned eight and only allowed three hits in a losing effort. Bryce Stoudt and Brendan Rivoli each went 2-for-3 for Daniel Boone.
