Highlights
At Wilson West Middle School, the Bulldogs (6-3, 9-8) used a seven-run third inning to beat the Mustangs (4-5, 11-7). Zach Weidner went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Gov. Mifflin, which led 4-0 after the top of the third. Wilson's Grady Weinheimer hit a two-run single in the bottom of the inning, which included three Wilson hits, two walks, one hit batter and three Gov. Mifflin errors. Ian Shaffer went 2-for-4 with a double, and Nick Royko drove in two runs for Wilson. Winning pitcher Kyle Gaynor struck out four and allowed eight hits in 6 2/3 innings. Ian Roth picked up the save.
