At Laureldale, Tyler Sassaman outdueled Alabama recruit Mike Nikorak as the Muhls (1-0) defeated the Mountaineers. Sassaman allowed only two hits and struck out four. Antoine Galloway scored it the first inning and Nick Wanner drove home Josh Kline with a sacrifice fly in the fourth for Muhenberg.
