Gov. Mifflin at Brandywine Heights

At Laureldale, Savanna Ruppert hit a walkoff double to the wall scoring Taylor Sweigart as the Bullets (18-2) defeated the Mustangs (8-13) in the BCIAA Quarterfinals. The hit completed Brandwine Heights' comeback after being down 6-3 through 4 1/2 innings. Sweigart led-off the bottom of the seventh with a single and Taylor Brintzenhoff followed with another single setting up Ruppert with runners on first and second. Gov. Mifflin grabbed a 6-3 lead after back-to-back three run innings in the fourth and fifth but were unable to keep it as the Bullets responded with four runs of their own in the bottom of the fifth to go up 7-6. Mary Beth Stone drew a two-out walk and came around to score to tie it once again in the sixth. Sam and Taylor Sweigart each went 2-for-4 with two runs scored for Brandywine Heights. Aileen Rhoulston was 2-for-3 with three RBIs for Gov. Mifflin and Laura Sadowski went 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
