Warwick at Exeter

At Exeter, Aaron Gentry's two-run homer in the fifth inning lifted the Eagles (14-8) to a District 3 Class AAAA first-round win over the Warriors (11-8) Exeter advances to the semifinal round where it will meet the winner of the Ephrata/Central York game. Gentry's homer followed Hunter Hart being hit by a pitch. It was just the second ball Exeter hit out of the infield in the game against Travis Reapsome, who fanned 10 Eagles. Dylan Richards threw three innings of scoreless relief to pick up the win for the Eagles. Richards worked out of jams in the sixth and seventh innings for Exeter, which committed four errors.
