Highlights
At Forino Sports Complex, Berks Catholic used three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning highlighted by Nick Perilli's two-run triple as the Saints (15-7) toppled the Shamrocks (10-10) in a District 3 Class AA quarterfinal.
Perilli was thrown out at homeplate on the hit that sparked the Saints' dramatic come-from-behind win.
Will Budock drew a walk and Franklin Ramirez extended the inning with a single. Ryan Schuetrumf's grounder to shortstop was overthrown to first base, scoring Budock to end the game.
Ramirez had three hits for Berks Catholic, while Patrick Causa added two hits and an RBI.
Christian Dekker (1-0) picked up the win in relief for the Saints.
The second-seeded Saints will take on Delone Catholic on Thursday at a site and time to be determined semifinal.
