Highlights
At Laureldale, the Cougars (14-7) put a runner on in all but one inning but left all nine on base as they fell to the Braves (17-4) in the District 3-AA quarterfinals. Kutztown had runners on second and third with one out in the fifth inning with the middle of the lineup at bat but a ground out and strikeout ended the threat. Meghan Donat went 2-for-3 at the plate and Jenna Grim went 1-for-4. Victoria DeHaven started the game with a lead-off triple for Pequea Valley and scored on a single. She also lead-off the sixth with a single and came around to score and insurance run for the Braves.
