Highlights
At Bear Stadium, Brandon Griesemer threw a four-hit shutout as the Bears (19-4) edged the Rams (12-7) in a District 1-AAAA quarterfinal and qualified for the PIAA Tournament for the first time in 11 years. Griesemer struck out three and walked none. He led off the second inning with a double before pinch-runner Jordan Shustack moved up on a groundout and scored on a passed ball. Boyertown will play PAC-10 rival Spring-Ford in the semifinals Tuesday.
