Highlights
At Wilson West Middle School, Michael Simmerman pitched five one-hit innings, and the Bulldogs (2-3, 3-6) topped the Red Knights (1-4, 3-7). Simmerman struck out three and walked three. Ryan Post went 1-for-2 with two RBIs, and Ryan Showalter had one hit, one run scored and an RBI for Wilson. Reading High's Marco Morales scored a run and also hit a bases-loaded, two-run single in the Knight's five-run third inning. Ian Roth picked up the save for Wilson.
