At New Schaefferstown, Derrick Eberhart came out of the bullpen and retired nine of the last 10 betters earn the save in the Spartans (3-3, 5-6) win over the Trojans (2-4, 4-8). A four run second gave Wyomissing the lead with runs coming on two bases loaded walks, an error and a fielders choice. Tom Paolini went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI for the Spartans. Kevin Berry led Tulpehocken going 4-for-4 with a run and RBI-double.
