At Forino Sports Complex, Matt Dekker came within three outs of pitching a perfect game to lead the Saints (5-1, 8-3) over the Panthers (0-6, 0-10). Dekker retired the first 18 batters before Dustin Spatz dropped a bunt down the third-base line to start the seventh for Schuylkill Valley's only hit. Dekker faced just 22 batters, one more than the minimum. He struck out 12 and needed just 67 pitches in the complete game. Dekker also led Berks Catholic at the plate by going 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
