Highlights
At Forino Sports Complex, Franklin Ramirez hit a three-run triple in a nine-run sixth inning that broke a tie and lifted Berks Catholic (7-2, 12-4) to a key victory over Twin Valley (6-3, 11-4). Christian Dekker (1-1) got the pitching win with three innings of scoreless relief after taking over in Twin Valley’s four-run fourth inning that gave the Raiders a 5-3 lead.
Ramirez finished 2-for-4 four RBIs and Pop Lacey went 2-for-4 and drove in two runs for the Saints. Gabe Witmer went 3-for-4 with a double and drove in a run for Berks Catholic. Colby Hiddemen went 4-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs for Twin Valley
