Highlights
At Hamburg, the Saints (4-1, 7-1) overcame an early three-run deficit and scored three runs in the ninth to defeat the Hawks (2-2, 6-5). Maria Prinzo had an RBI double and scored a run to highlight the ninth-inning rally. Erica Lutz went 2-for-3 with four RBIs and staked Hamburg to a 4-1 lead with a two-run homer in the third inning. Rebecca Blatt went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Hawks. Winning pitcher Courtney Wensel helped herself with two hits and an RBI. She also got a boost when the Saints turned a triple play on a line drive to shortstop Brooke Wensel, who tagged a runner going from second to third and threw to first baseman Alli Huddleson for the third out.
