Highlights
At Twin Valley, the eighth-seeded Raiders (16-6) tied it in the fifth on Colby Hiddemen's RBI double and then took the lead on Mitch Carsley's RBI single in the sixth to defeat the ninth-seeded Saints (14-6) in the first round of the District 3 Class AAA playoffs. Twin Valley's A.J. Alexy threw a two-hitter and struck out five. Matt Dekker struck out eight over six innings for Berks Catholic. The Raiders will play 16th-seeded Middletown in the second round.
