Exeter at Warwick

At Lititz, 16th-seeded Exeter scored three unearned runs in the first inning and held on to stun top-seeded Warwick in the opening round of the District 3-AAAA softball tournament. Warwick (20-3) scored a run in the seventh and had runners at first and third when Eagles catcher Haley Kisamore held on to Vanessa Strohm's foul tip for a strikeout to end the game. Jordan DeNunzio went 2-for-3, Madison Straka 2-for-3, Zoe Texidor 2-for-4 with a run scored and Sydney Manwiller 1-for-4 with an RBI for the Eagles (14-7), who advance to play Penn manor Thursday at a site and time to be determined.
