Highlights
At Collegeville, Ana Bruni's 100th career hit was an inside-the-park home run that propelled the Vikings (22-10) to Class AAAA second round win over the 18 seed Hatters. Bruni had two hits in three at bats, scored two runs and knocked in three. Hatboro-Horsham scored four runs in the first two innings but Perkiomen Valley had answers each time before Bruni's home run gave them the lead. Erin Hallahan batted in two in the fifth to give the Vikings some insurance runs. Hallahan also scored two runs. Perkiomen Valley will play No. 7 West Chester East in the quarterfinals on Friday at 4:00 in Collegeville.
