Highlights
At New Schaefferstown, the Cougars five run seventh inning rally came up short as Tulpehocken (3-2, 6-3) held on to defeat Kutztown (1-4, 2-6). The Trojans opened the scoring in the first inning when Devin Emrich drove in Jacob Carles who had tripled. Four runs were added to the lead as Kevin Berry and Ben Wanner drove in runs in the 3rd. Kutztown answered with two runs in the fifth due to an RBI double by Aaron Kulp. Tulpehocken added three in the bottom of the inning on a Dalton Boltz two run double and a Matt Herbert RBI single. This set the stage for the final inning one out comeback attempt by the Cougars, however Wanner held on for the Trojan win.
