Highlights
Boyertown got nine innings worth of good pitching from Andrew Bauer and Nate Kline and scored on an error in the bottom of the ninth for a 4-3 baseball win over Perkiomen Valley Friday afternoon at Bear Stadium. Bauer started the Pioneer Athletic Conference contest for the Bears (3-1, 3-1) and allowed only an unearned run in six innings and Kline did not allow a run in three frames. Boyertown scored in the ninth on singles by Pat Maloney and Ben Longacre and a throwing error to hand the Vikings (3-1, 4-1) their first loss of the season.
