Highlights
Boyertown allowed five runs in the bottom of the seventh inning Monday afternoon at Pope John Paul II, but bounced back with one in the eighth for a 7-6 Pioneer Athletic Conference baseball win.
Pat Hohlfeld allowed only two hits and a run in six innings as the starter for the Bears (7-1, 7-2) and Seth Endy and Ben Longacre each had two hits.
Billy Hitman had two hits, including a game-tying triple with two out in the seventh, for the Golden Panthers (3-5, 3-5).
