District 1-AAAA opening round At Newtown. Kalli Segel hit a solo homerun in the bottom of the second inning fro all the runs Council Rock North would need as they defeated Methacton 2-0 in a the first round of the District 1 AAAA playoffs at Newtown. The game had been suspended in the top of the fifth inning on Monday. The Indians scored an insurance run in the bottom of the fifth one play resumed.
