At New Schaefferstown, Gage Sicher went 3-for-3 as the Cougars (5-1, 11-3) beat the Trojans (3-3, 4-7) to give coach Tim Mertz his 300th win. Sicher hit an inside the park home run and scored three runs for Kutztown, and Trevor Leverington was 2-for-4 with two triples, an RBI and two runs scored. For Tulpehocken, Jack Thomas was 3-for-4.
