Wilson at Liberty

At Bethlehem Damarys Rodriguez was 2-3 with a double one rbi and three runs scored as the Bulldogs (0-1) fell to the Hurricanes. Wilson jumped out to a 5-0 lead after two innings, but Liberty brought in Todd Erney who pitched five innings, surrendered three earned runs, allowed four hits and struck out eight over five innings. Trailing by one entering the top of the sixth inning the Bulldogs scored two runs with two outs to take the lead, only to lose in the bottom on a bases loaded walk and a fielder's choice.
