Highlights
At Fredericksburg, Justin Renninger struck out three batters with the tying and winning runs on base in the bottom of the seventh, enabling the second-seeded Cougars (18-5) to beat the top-seeded Lions (16-6) for the District 3 Class 2A title. Trevor Leverington drove in the tying run in the sixth inning for Kutztown, and Ryan Brauer knocked in the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly. Gage Sicher had a two-run single and Dylan Moyer had an RBI single for the Cougars, who clinched a PIAA Tournament berth with the win.
