Highlights
At Fleetwood, the Tigers (1-2, 2-3) used a six-run second inning to take control and held on for the win over the Scouts (0-2, 0-3).
Winning pitcher Jordan Garcia fanned nine in five innings for Fleetwood, which sent 11 hitters to the plate in its big second inning. Andrew Dietrich had a two-run single, Brent Hartman had a two-run double and Cody Lesher had an RBI single in the decisive frame. Joe Dantas went 2-for-3 for the Tigers.
For Weiser, Colt Snyder homered and went 2-for-3 and Aaron Carman had an RBI double.
