Exeter at Reading High

At George Field, David Walker went 4-for-4 with four runs as the Red Knights (2-9, 6-13) closed out the season by defeating the Eagles (5-6, 8-10). Walker and Jeff Hernandez each had RBI doubles in a six-run third that put Reading up 8-5. Geraldo Garcia was 2-for-4, Shawn Heck was 2-for-3 with a homer, two RBIs and three runs and Hernandez was 2-for-2 with two runs for the Red Knights, who won for the third time in four games. For Exeter, Eric Pepper was 3-for-4 with three runs, Matt Farrell was 2-for-2 with two runs and Dylan Mazzo drove in four runs.
