At New Schaefferstown, senior right-hander Brian Miller threw a one-hitter, struck out six and didn't allow an earned run as the Trojans (1-3, 1-3) defeated the Lynx (1-4, 1-4). Miller didn't allow a hit until Wade Kunkel's leadoff single in the sixth inning. Miller had a two-run single, Clint Faust had an RBI single and Matt Siegfried and John Rivera each had run-scoring groundouts in a five-run first for Tulpehocken. Faust was 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI, Phil Anderson was 2-for-3 with a double and three runs, Blaise Fernandez scored three runs and drove in two, Zach Shirk drove in three runs and Miller was 2-for-3 with three RBIs for the Trojans.
