Wyomissing at Oley Valley

At Oley, the Spartans (4-4 Berks IV, 5-5) left runners in scoring position with less than two outs in the final two innings, but could not tie the game, as the Lynx (5-4 Berks III, 5-7) held on to win. The Spartans had runners on second and third with one out in the top of the sixth, but Derrick Iwanoski struck out and Adam Wieland popped out to end the inning. In the top of the seventh, the Spartans woes continued at the plate as they had a runner on second with no outs, but stranded him to end the game. Ryan Kline went seven innings giving up three runs on seven hits while striking out six to pick up the win for the Lynx. Kline also went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Wade Kunkel went 2-for-2 with two RBIs.
