Highlights
At George Field, Evan Gombos hit a two-run home run in the top of he sixth inning to lift the Bulldogs (2-0, 3-1) over the host Red Knights (0-2, 2-3).
Reading High took a 3-0 lead over the first three innings as Dave Walker had two RBIs and Frankelvin Reyes tripled. But Wilson fought back with single runs in the fourth and fifth before Gombos' blast.
Tim Ravel went 3-for-4 for the Bulldogs and made a game-saving play, stopping a potential base hit in the bottom of the seventh inning when the Red Knights had runners on first and second with two outs.
